Create a modern 3d chair model part 1

This free tutorial will show you how to create a modern chair 3d model in 3D studio max.

Hello guys in this tutorial we will learn how to create modern chairs.
First reset 3ds max, after that maximize you front viewport.







Now create a rectangle convert it into a editable spline and as an sub object choose spline.







Select spline and apply outline on it with a value of 2.
Now select the vertices that are shown in picture below to apply a weld on the. Repeat that procedure on every angle of the rectangle.





Now apply a extrude modifier to an rectangle to get the basic shape.



Now copy that rectangle on the other side like shown below, and after that convert it into editable poly.
